What is baby massage & baby yoga?
Baby Massage & Baby Yoga are age-old traditions that support emotional and physical development through intentional, loving touch.
Integrating baby massage and yoga into daily routines offers long-term benefits for both baby and caregiver, enriching early development and laying the foundation for lifelong health and happiness.
What we do in our classes
We know that becoming parent is both a rewarding yet often an overwhelming experience so we aim to support parents and babies using instinctive parenting methods with the aim of helping to nurture babies naturally.
The class provides: time for parent and baby to spend together, relief from colic, enhance parent/baby communication, enhance bonding process, build confidence, enhance sense of community amongst parents and to teach parents a new skill for life.
What age does my baby need to be to attend?
Generally speaking it is safe to start baby massage and yoga from 8 weeks old (usually after the first post natal check-up).
What should I wear?
Please come dressed in comfortable clothing.
What should I bring?
Please bring a towel/muslin to rest your baby on. I will provide the yoga mats and massage oil.
What are your qualifications?
I am a certified teacher in baby massage & baby yoga with the worlds leading parent and baby wellness school: Blossom & Berry.
I also have a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Forensic Psychology where my understanding regarding the importance of positive early childhood experiences began.
And 14 years experience at Nike where my passion for movement comes from.
